b_field_injection

This page contains a full reference of all parameters available for the b_field_injection module. At the bottom of the page you can find an example parameter block that can be used in your parameter file.

b_field_injection

Parameters controlling mid-run injection of a confined poloidal magnetic field at the current locations of the tracked compact objects. Uses the Avec_ID prescription under the grmhd module for cutoff_var, cutoff_fact, A_n, radius_1, radius_2, Bmax_target and is_binary; this module only adds the trigger.

Default:	False
Description:	Enable mid-run B-field injection. When false, no injection is performed regardless of the trigger time.

Name:	trigger_time
Type:	double
Default:	0.0
Range:	[0,*)
Description:	Simulation time (code units) at which the injection fires. The injection happens once, on the first iteration whose current time is >= trigger_time.
